Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Tip: Deeds and Dev Level

I have been playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for a while and honestly, the game is pumping you with a lot of tutorials that you cannot reread back and sometimes were lazy reading them. Some were not really discussed in detail at all but here are some strategies and Basics that would help you boosts regions economy and gain advantages from it!

Deeds give your party certain boost for either economy boost or something that can help you in battle. example Honeycomb Deeds Increases Dev point gains by one while Llysiau Deeds Increases item drop collection range by 50cm. You'd know that you've bought a Deed from a certain merchant once you see a medal beside her name.

To boost Dev Level:

  1. Talk to people with Stars. You may want to revisit the village for new information. Some folks will talk about secrets and in game tips.
  2. Questing Hoard the all the quest before moving to the Main quest. Tiring and repetitive at times but it would prepare you for your next main mission and boost development level for that town.
  3. Buy all items from that store until it sells Deeds. Some merchants will not produce deeds until you've finished certain Quest or Mercenary quest. Be on the lookout for Contract rewards as it will unlock items from merchant for purchase from various towns. Consume food as it will give you advantage in battle and it will also force you to buy food from merchants which is good for you and the economy.
  4. Complete Mercenary Missions. Late in the game you'd unlock an option to send your Blades in a mission. So don't just release Blades as some might have important Field skills that you'd need for certain missions. Not only that you gain experience, gold and items it will also boost Blades affinity and regions Dev Level. A real win-win situation so don't forget to send Blades to missions every time you finish one.

That's the basic of it. Hope this helps you on your Journey!
